We started Digiruptor to provide an opportunity for small-medium sized businesses to reach their digital goals to enable growth without needing deep pockets. We have learned best practices and key considerations when trying to scale and we wanted to share this knowledge & experience with small-medium sized organizations. Our team has worked with large corporations globally for fifteen plus years and we have seen their growth challenges. We recognized that large corporations are challenged with reconnecting with their customers to understand their needs, while dealing with legacy technology & cultural mindset. This becomes a huge advantage for small-medium sized businesses, who are close to their existing customer base and able to design, test with clients and pivot faster than larger organizations. Small-medium sized business is able to leverage new software and technology solutions to create and embed an agile and design thinking organization. The Team

Sapna Malhotra, Founder of Digiruptor Sapna Malhotra brings more than two decades of domestic and international management consulting experience in sales and business operations in the technology, financial services and telecommunications industries.

She has significant experience in leading large-scale business and IT transformation programs to deliver consistent end-user experience in demanding and fast paced environments. Sapna is known for her constant industry curiosity and new and emerging technologies that will enable different industries to be on the forefront of this digital revolution. In June 2016, for example, she started the Women Digital Network (WDN) in Canada with over 400 members and growing. The focus of WDN is to enable digital literacy and mindset. She has also started CANINNOVATEH podcast focusing on Canadian innovators. She truly believes that education and awareness is instrumental in overcoming any obstacles and perception challenges both globally and locally. She is a globally recognized and certified management consultant (CMC), along with being a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). She also holds certificate in Change Management Leadership, Lean Six Sigma accreditation and DevOps & UX Design foundation certifications. Sapna holds a B.Comm. in Finance from the University of Windsor. Sapna also serves as a mentor to future Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) in Canada, and is very active in promoting Certified Management Consultants (CMC) Canada accreditation.
